A massive thank you for a great K-Town Hardcore Fest!!
Wow! Just: wow! We are still flying high from all the good times we had this year. What a blast! It truly means the world to all of us, that we are able to have this amazing festival every year.
If you are wondering why we are posting these news almost a MONTH after the fest, it’s because we have been busy, overworked and underslept since the fest. But a small status, update on things and a massive THANK YOU are still in order :) … now let’s get to it! (and hey, maybe there’s a treat in the end?)
Dear volunteers: THANK YOU
We’d like to express our most humble and cincere thank you and respect towards all of the volunteers who help this fest run as smooth as possible. We couldn’t do this without you, really!
A special thank to the returning volunteers who gladly show up year after year to cut veggies and cook food, sweep the floors, collect bottles, manage the info point, do sound and everything in between – you are part of the family! And we’d love to have you back <3
A very special NO THANK YOU to the no-shows, who decided to not show up for their shifts and thus making it harder for everyone else…
Donations
Donation to MAP (Medical Aid for Palestinians)
We pledged earlier to donate 25.000 DKK from our ticket sale to MAP again, and we are very pleased to inform you all that money has been transferred.
We bumped up the donated amount to account for the conversion rates.
Donation to Lebanon Solidarity Collective
Thanks to everyone who bought stuff, we were able to raise almost 15.000 DKK from the sale of the compilation tape with all bands playing this year, the special canned FIREWALKER beer and the donated solidarity t-shirts.
The money has been donated to the Lebanon Solidarity Collective and we encourage everyone to chip a little extra if you have the money for it.
Fundraiser for Women Defend Rojava
Through the sale of our soli-cocktail “COMBAT”, we were able to raise 2000 DKK to ‘Women Defend Rojava‘.
A group dedicated to coordinating international resistance, solidarity and the fight for equal rights and freedom in Rojava (Northern and Eastern Syria), free from oppression from both the Syrian and the Turkish states.
Dear bands: thank you too!!
Bands are, obviously, an important part of the festival and we’d like give a massive shoutout to everyone who played at the fest! Thank you for all the kind words, both on and off stage, thanks for behaving and adhering to house rules, and thanks for taking part in this! You rule!

That’s right – we have already settled on the dates for next year, so put a big fat X in your calenders and save the dates now.
But PLEASE NOTE: we are not open for band applications just yet, as we will be going into hibernation.
For the next couple of months we will not be reading or answering emails, but will return with a new newsletter, a new email adress and information on how to apply for the fest, by the end of the year.
