Interview by The Counterforce
Check out this new interview with two of our collective members, done by Martin Force, who runs The Counterforce zine as part of the ‘Fediverse Punk Month’. The interview gives a ‘behind the scenes’ look of our thoughts, reasoning and ideas of leaving META’s platforms.
When Martin reached out to the K-Town collective he had no idea that it was his writing that had given us the final ‘push’ in terms of leaving META’s platforms. We had already debated leaving, in the early stages of planning K-Town Hardcore Fest 2025, but due to the workload we never got around to finishing the roadmap, research and planning of alternatives platforms. Martin was present at the fest and had brought a bunch of his ‘The Counterforce Manifesto‘, which incidentally ended up inspiring us to get our feet out of our asses and finishing the work we had set out to do.
